Brian E. Alexander
Brian E. Alexander has been practicing law since 1976, serving clients’ legal needs for nearly 50 years. As the founding partner of our firm, Brian brings a wealth of knowledge across multiple practice areas. He built his career on helping everyday people navigate real estate deals, family matters, and beyond with confidence. Brian’s approach to law is both pragmatic and heartfelt – he combines seasoned legal strategy with the understanding that behind every case is a person or family.
Brian began his career after earning his law degree in Washington, D.C., and returning home to Illinois to serve his community. Over the years, he has handled countless real estate closings and guided many families through important life decisions. He is also trained in mediation (including completion of Northwestern University’s Mediation Program), reflecting his belief in resolving conflicts amicably whenever possible. Brian is proud to have built a practice that treats clients as friends. He’s known for his patience in explaining complex legal concepts in plain English and for his steady, calming presence in stressful situations.
Outside of work, Brian has been an active member of the local legal community. He has served on the Cook County Mediation Panel and has been entrusted by the courts as a child representative in sensitive cases – experiences that speak to his integrity and reputation. Today, Brian focuses his practice on what he loves doing most: helping clients close on new homes, secure their family’s future with solid estate plans, and solve problems with practical solutions.
